Description

Haha, this was fun to draw. A scene from a Roleplay I'm taking part of on Gaia Online. Me being Orochimaru I unfortunately ran into Itachi (KTyouko on Deviant Art). Well, we fought... and the Uchiha managed to pull off the Tsukiyomi on me.

Here's a strip of the Roleplay. It was very entertaining writing it out.

~

(Orochimaru)

The speech of the Uchiha drove farther into his soul than normally. They were as poison smoke that swelled in his innards. Orochimaru looked away for a dawdling moment due to his uncomfortable state of facing Itachi. The nin slowly came back... the most terrible decision of his life was surfaced... he just didn't know it yet.

The eyes of Satan connected to his own. The Sharingan wheel eye flared with crimson and betrayal. It reflected the blood of his clan, the carcasses of his victems, everything. Itachi was more than just traumatized. It was like he was possessed by the devil.

I believe it's time I showed you the true power of the Sharingan. Your sanity... is mine.

Blackened limbs sprouted from the roof in with Orochimaru stood. Damn. They snagged his legs, then grew over his arms. The summoner struggled, but it was deeply futile. Soon he was completely engulfed in a mount of darkness. The shadows consumed his sight. The last thing he saw was Satan's eyes.

Everything went pitch black.

The sound of heightened buzzing vibrations had Orochima wake from his slumber. He lifted his head to observe the universe around him, ogling through his draped hair. The missing-nin's yellow eyes caught sight of a surrounding forest absolutely cluttered in vegetation. Yet the plants weren't ordinary. The limbs of every tree were bare, the trunks were stunted, thick, and charred to a severe degree. The atmosphere around him was dim and suffocating, a cold temperature like no other. The sky was of night, but not a moon, nor a star was in sight. Orochimaru exhaled softly a cloud of visible breath.

He looked to the ground, and realized that he was far from it. Instead of soil there grew a stunted, though enormous tree with two separate, thick limbs that grew tightly around his legs. His arms were also caught. He glanced to the sides to see his arms complete immobile from two distinct branches, each stretching from a separate tree on each side. What... is this? An illusion?

"Now," a voice emptied of emotion echoed throughout the forlorn landscape. "how do you feel, now that you're prey?"

"This is an illusion, Uchiha." Orochima responded in a firm, furious tone while he struggled with the tree's limbs. "I will not fall for such a trick as this one."

There was a pause with the Uchiha. "A trick, yes. I'm surprised you are able to think clearly, but this is my earth now."

Of course the summoner was close to losing it. The ambiance was unbeareably heavy. He continued to tug at the limbs; they were inhumanly powerful for keeping Orochimaru in place.

Rustling of something times a thousand was being heard from the trees surrounding him. Small screams and callings of creatures exponentially numerous, though he didn't care any as he retaliated. Escaping was all he wanted at the moment. The buzzing was becoming louder, and ear-splitting.

Out of small holes on the trees came tiny creatures with shined armored backs and bundles of legs to crawl down the tree with. Their exo-skeletons were darker than charcoal; insects, hundreds of them, thousands of them, making their trails down the vegetation in an incredible swarm.

It was until the insects were crawling over the arm securing limbs that Orochimaru decided to note the assault happening around him. Like streams of black water they scurried over and around the branches in collumns. They didn't stop there. The insects traveled over his sleeves. With razored pincers they initiated digging into his sleeves to expose his unguarded flesh for themselves. Their pincers snapped in delight before the offense.

Familiar streams of red began to seep from his arms and spotted the tree below. Orochimaru gritted his teeth in extroadinary pain. The insects were more than just eating him alive. They burrowed into his flesh and blood to mangle his bones as well, drilling through the marrow with muscular pincers. His veins were also being consumed, as the nin quickly realized. Unbelievably, Orochimaru still didn't utter a cry, but how long could he keep it inside him? How long before the illusion would surely unwind him?

The other insects that saw no satisfaction with his tarnished, bleeding arms. They continued to made their way across Orochimaru's arms. They then moved to maiming the shoulder, then continuing up his neck. Piercing his skull, he couldn't help but unleash a broken cry of torture.

"Only seventy-two hours to go, Orochimaru."

_

The insectoid forest dissipated before him. Heaven's cure, the pain was gone, but he believed it, although his mind screamed that it wasn't true throughout the experience. The illusion decieved him, and he was now a complete wreck of trauma.

Orochimaru labored to keep on his feet, or he would fall from the building instantly. His muscles twitched and shuddered uncontrollably. His figure hunched over, about ready to give up and fall forward. With an arm he cradled his stomach in disgust of the illusion. The other limb hung lifeless by his side. He tiredly watched the ground for a long moment, then looked to the spellcastor resignedly. The Uchiha no longer seemed to display the devil's eyes any longer. Orochimaru's bloodshot induced eyes clashed with their usual yellow tint, creating a bizarre effect.

"W.. what..." his common smooth tone adjusted to a weak, rasping timbre. The nin's hair hung over his pale visage.
